Getting to Amelia Island
The closest major airport to Amelia Island is the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), located approximately 30 miles southwest of the island. JAX is supported by all major airlines with nonstop services to several U.S. cities. Upon landing, you have several transportation options to reach Amelia Island. Rental car services are readily available at the airport, along with private car services, taxis and rideshare (more details on this below).

The Courtyard and Springhill Suites by Marriott are sister properties connected via front entrance and lobby. Amelia Island's newest hotel is located about five miles from our wedding venue and offers a resort-style pool. It is directly across the street from the beach and within walking distance to two restaurants, putt-putt, and a playground.
